• Casting
• Shared Experience is a small company and does not have a Casting Department or issue breakdowns. A freelance Casting Director is appointed for each production who organises meetings and auditions via agents/personal management offices. In practice, it is very unlikely that you will be invited to a casting session other than through contact between your agent and the Casting Director. We request that CVs are not sent to the Shared Experience office unless they are for a specific production or workshop.

• Unsolicited Scripts
• Shared Experience have recently produced new adaptations and translations; however we are not a new writing company and cannot accept unsolicited manuscripts. Adaptations created by the company are chosen because of the appeal of the original text to the director, and are always commissioned.

• Directing/Assisting
• Shared Experience's Artistic Directors will occasionally require an Assistant or Observer during the rehearsal process. We regret that this is not a regular position and candidates are sourced from scratch for their suitability to the current project.

• Work Experience
• There are very occasional opportunities for students to take placements at Shared Experience. Students will mainly be assisting the office team, rather than observing the creative process.
